Herb gardens, salad gardens, cutting gardens, butterfly gardens, knot gardens, rock gardens, water gardens, rose gardens, wildlife gardens, potagers.
What about a juicing garden?
I’ve reorganized and replotted my garden four times already.  The latest version includes a juicing garden, designed to ease my transition to an 80% raw foods diet.  Some of the best juicing choices are [...]

This week I dusted off my ‘new juicer’ and tried some of my old favourites.

raw fruits of all kinds
raw veggies of [...]

From then on, I decided to [...]

I bought a beautiful bunch of bright red/purple kale a few days ago.  It looked pretty on the table.  It looked pretty in the fridge too, a trophy vegetable to show the whole family Look at the nutritious foods we like to eat.  Another day or two, of course, and it would be making me [...]

So, I’m sitting here eating my raw vanilla ice cream, and I’ve finally got my raw crackers in the dehydrator, after waiting a day and a half for my raw macaroons to reach the perfect crispness, and I’m thinking It’s time to come out of the closet.

It’s been over a year since I [...]
